David Börjesson is Area Sales Manager for the Nordics – Systems Division. He is an economist from Malmö in Sweden who is introducing TS and OEM solutions to the Nordic markets and he says that the best thing about it is that he gets to meet so many interesting people on the way.
What do you love the most about insulation?
KISD (TS and OEM) is rather new in the Nordics, so my work is really to find ways of introducing KI's products to the market. In the process I get to meet many interesting people throughout the region.
How did your story at Knauf Insulation begin?
I was chosen. (laughter) Three years ago I was contacted by a HR agency that was searching for a person with my skill set and I filled the position.
How do you see the future of the insulation industry?
KI has a golden opportunity to grow its market share in the Nordics using its advantage of being professional and flexible which will be key factors for the future success in the insulation industry.
What did the COVID-19 lockdown bring for you?
During the lockdown I realised how important it is to be financially independent and secure.
Which sports do you follow?
My interest in sports in general is quite high, I used to play ice hockey which I am still following on the TV. However, these days I am only playing golf and I go to the gym regularly.
Who is your hero?
Is it ok if I answer with “I”? (laughter)
