Noise barriers along the Doboj-Prnjavor motorway

Traffic noise is one the biggest sources of noise pollution around. Excessive noise also affects the health of inhabitants who live and work in the vicinity of the noise source, which can cause agitation, high blood pressure and disrupt sleep. Noise barriers that employ sound-insulation boards made of rock mineral wool offer an effective solution to noise trouble. Noise barriers using our Knauf Insulation RSB BOARD products are also erected along the Doboj-Prnjavor motorway (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In total, some 63,900 m2 of our products were employed in noise barriers on said section of the motorway in 2016, and an additional 21,343 m2 in 2017.
